Dead Trees

Three dead trees in my backyard. I'm told they were probably victims of this years drought. Sorry they are gone, but fortunately there are more. It was amazing watching the tree guys take them down and then haul them out to the street by hand- no access for truck or tractors in back.

These are big. Some 30" in diameter

Texas No More!

Well a couple of days after writing the previous post about my paintings in Texas ... they sent them back ... without a word. Oh well. They had been there for a long time w/o much interest, so I guess this is best. I guess Texas and me don't have much in common. I'm glad to see Mary again.

I had forgotten about these paintings at Koelsch Gallery in Houston. I really like them, but apparently I'm in the minority ...again.
