Horoscope

I don't seem to be living up to the heavens' plan.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): The English term "engine" refers
primarily to a machine that transforms energy into mechanical power. But
its roots are in the Old French word *engin,* which meant skill or wit, and
in the Latin word *ingenium,* defined as "inborn talent." I'd like to borrow
the original meanings to devise your horoscope this week. According to
my reading of the astrological omens, your "engine" is unusually strong
right now, which means that your cultivated skills and innate talents are
functioning at peak levels. I suggest you make intensive use of them to
produce maximum amounts of energy and gather more of the clout you'd
love to wield.

Lawrence Wells Bohemian Paintings 2011-2014

I just ordered a copy of Lawrence Wells new book.

Available now on Amazon - Here

Looking forward to it. I enjoy following his blog - Stupid Computer

Just got my copy. Really nice.

Back from Louisville

Fast one day trip. I dumped artwork and trashed the gallery and left Joyce and Will to make it look like a show. I have my fingers crossed.

Will wondering what to do.

It sort of looks like a forlorn yard sale.

Everything Old is New Agian

Over the past year I've changed directions w/ my work. I've been working through some ideas I had that were originally influenced by Kippenberger and Franz West. I know there is no original thought left, but I had the crazy idea I was at least putting my own spin on something  ...until I got this book and found that these guys had panned this stream 50 years ago. Oh well, I can't stop now. It's always a thrill to find art that I wasn't really aware of. I'd skimmed over Atre Povera  in the past but never did any reading to speak of so I'm amazed at what was going on in Italy while Pop Art reigned.
